Advanced Concept Engineering is owned and Operated by Jeff Domi.

History: Jeff started out as a machinist while earning a tool engineering degree. While the work was challenging and rewarding, Jeff always felt there was something better on the horizon. Operating a large Sheffield CMM in a machine shop was the next step in his journey. This of course led to a strong interest in metrology and the desire to learn more. The next decade or so brought many new opportunities including product engineer, gage designer, quality engineer, laboratory supervisor, and others. But no matter the job, he usually found himself in the inspection lab either working with CMM inspectors or measuring with CMMs himself. It was becoming clear where his strengths were and what he wanted to do. Jeff had started a small machining business in his garage, mainly doing overflow work from local tool shops. This helped finance the first Faro arm. From there, it became a business, Advanced Concept Engineering.

Current: Now, 10 years later, Advanced Concept Engineering is an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration laboratory and inspection company servicing a wide range of customers in a number of different industries.
